2021 VBS Info Coming Soon!!!
What will VBS look like in the midst of a pandemic?
First and foremost, you need to know that VBS will look like it normally does, just on a bit smaller scale. We'll still have people here to share the love of God and the Good News of Jesus with your children.
You also need to know, SOCIAL DISTANCING IS NOT POSSIBLE in children's ministry. VBS will operate as it usually does; we won't be able to keep kids six feet from each other in any way, shape or form, but we will promote good hand hygiene throughout the day by all volunteers and children.
All families and staff will be expected to abide by our Well Family Policy. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please don't hesitate to ask.
Hand washing and/or sanitizer will be required during the rotation between stations.
Classes for children entering Kindergarten through Sixth Grade will be available. Students who just completed sixth grade are welcome to join our youth ministry on Wednesday nights from 6-8 p.m. Check our Youth Ministry Page for updates on when they will begin meeting again.
Registration will be limited and class sizes will be kept to a maximum of 20 students per age group. REGISTRATION IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. If you register and decide not to attend, please let us know so we can open your spot for someone else.
Registration will be online only! The link below is the only way you can register. Once a class is full your child will be put on a waiting list. When registration closes, IF we have room to put your child in another class (one grade up or down) we will let you know. REGISTRATION IS FIRST, COME FIRST SERVE. If you register and decide not to attend, please let us know so we can open your spot for someone else.
Registration CLOSES on Friday June 5th. Please register now so we can plan accordingly. REGISTRATION IS FIRST, COME FIRST SERVE. If you register and decide not to attend, please let us know so we can open your spot for someone else.
Sanitation will occur throughout the day. We will disinfect high contact areas before, during and after each day.
Personal Protective Equipment is optional. PPE like masks and gloves are optional - no family or volunteer will be required to wear protection and NO ONE will judge you for wearing or not wearing PPE. We will treat each other with love and respect.
Volunteers are NEEDED. VBS can't happen without volunteers. Everyone has to decide for themselves when they are ready to resume gathering with others. If you are ready, please use the link below to volunteer to serve. All volunteers working with children are required to complete an application process. If you are new to serving at GFC, instructions will be sent to you by email. If you are not ready to join large gatherings, please be in prayer for those who are serving/participating to stay healthy and clearly hear from the Lord.
Donations are NEEDED. If you can donate disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer or snack supplies we would surely appreciate it.
