Serving at Grace

My friends, you were chosen to be free. So don't use your freedom as an excuse to do anything you want. Use it as an opportunity to serve each other with love.

-Galatians 5:13

Why Should I Serve?

-to repay a debt
-to donate your professional skills

-to make new friends
-to explore a career
-to help someone
-as therapy
-for fun!

-to learn something new
-to help a friend or relative

-to be challenged

-to have an excuse to do what you love
-to be part of a team
-because you were asked
-to test yourself
-to build your resume
-to be an agent of change
-because of personal experience with the problem, illness, or cause

-to stand up and be counted

-to express gratitude
-to feel needed
-to share a skill
-to get to know a community
-to demonstrate commitment to a cause/belief
-to gain leadership skills
-satisfaction from accomplishment

-to keep skills alive

-to have an impact

How Can I Serve?

We are currently seeking volunteers to serve in various areas of our children’s ministry.

Even if your spiritual gifting is NOT with children, you can still help! Working in with the Children’s Ministry is a very rewarding endeavor. You can make an impact on a child’s entire life! There are many ways to be involved...

The Coordination Team helps our services run smoothly.

They provide the following services:

-Greeting Visitors & Regular Church Attenders
-Communion Servers

The Audio/Visual Team is an integral and necessary part of our church ministry. The ministry is surprisingly large, with needs for many different volunteers with specialized gifts and skills.

However, no previous experience is required as we are more than willing to train a willing heart.

The Praise & Worship Ministry is a team of believers that are called not only to worship the Lord but to facilitate the worship experience during our church services.

Safety Team/Emergency Medical Response

Everyone should be able to worship and serve in a safe environment.  To that end, a dedicated group of trained men and women from the GFC family share their unique skills by providing security and emergency medical response to all on campus every Sunday and at other special events.
