Donations Needed

Candy

Drop off at the church. There is a collection bin in the church lobby.

2 Liter Bottles of Soda

We need 300 bottles of 2 liter sodas to give away at the Soda Pop Ring Toss. Any brand, any flavor. Bottles of soda can be dropped off at the church. There is a collection bin in the church lobby.

Cake Walk Donations

We need baked goods (homemade or store bought) individually packaged to give away as prizes for the Cake Walk. Cookies, cupcakes, muffins, whatever your specialty is, we’ll take it! Please deliver perishable items to the church office on Wednesday 10/28/26 during office hours OR Thursday 10/29/26 by 7:30 a.m.

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations help with the cost of putting on the event. Select “fall festival” from the menu to earmark your donation for this event.

Volunteers Needed

Set Up and Clean Up

All hands on deck! We need as many people as possible to help set up and clean up for the day’s event. The more hands we have helping, the sooner we’ll be finished. We must work until the work is done. We will begin working on set up at 7:30 a.m. and plan on being done by noon. Clean up begins at 8:00pm and we plan on being done before 10:00pm. There will be physical labor outside as well as easy projects inside.

Registration Desk

Six volunteers are needed each hour (three at each entry point) to take guest registration information and hand out wristbands to all visitors.

Event Runner

Two volunteers are needed each hour to take bags of candy from station to station and make sure their candy bins stay full, take bottled water out to volunteer staff, empty trashes and check bathrooms for cleanliness and restocking needs.

Face Paint Line Manager

Three volunteers are needed each hour to manage the lines at the Face Painting Station. Ensure children have a chance to look at paint options prior to sitting down and close the line at 7:30pm so the station runs efficiently.

Face Painting

Eight volunteers are needed for each shift to do simple face paintings for children. Training sessions available.

Cake Walk

Four volunteers are needed during each shift.

Slides

There are 2 slides – the tropical slide and the red rush slide. Two volunteers are needed for each 30-minute time slot per slide to supervise children as they play.

Soda Pop Ring Toss

Two volunteers are needed during each shift.

Pop-A-Shot Basketball

Supervise children as they shoot hoops at this inflatable basketball station.
